Domestic Cups

Gor Mahia won the FKL Cup by beating Sofapaka 1-0 in the final. Edwin Lavatsa scored the winning goal. Kogallo had beaten arch rivals, AFC Leopards 1-0 in the semifinal.

Ulinzi Stars won the Top 8 tournament, beating Western Stima in the final and Tusker beat Gor Mahia 4-1 on penalties to win the Super-Cup.

Harambee Stars

Harambee Stars featured in the 2011 CECAFA cup. They were eliminated in the group stage after losing to Sudan (0-1) and Malawi )(0-2) and beating Ethiopia 2-0. Stars also featured in the Nile Basin tournament in Egypt, losing 5-1 to Egypt, and 0-1 to DRC before recovering to beat Sudan 1-0.
