Kenya Boxing team results at the 1974 world championships

The World Championships of 1974 were held in Havana, Cuba from August 17 to August 30. It was at this tournament that Stephen Muchoki announced himself to the world as a 17 year old. Muchoki won a silver medal at the 1974 world boxing championships. He would go on to win the gold medal at the same event four years later and become Kenya’s most successful amateur boxer.
