Leopards start second leg with a bang

AFC leopards showed their intentions for the second leg when they destroyed Sofapaka 3-0 on Saturday June 22 at the City Stadium.

They took the lead as early as the 4th minute when Patillah Omoto’s cross was met by Noah Wafula whose shot was deflected in by Sofapaka’s James Situma.

Paul Were netted the second goal after a series of fancy footwork that saw him blow past Anthony Kimani.

The third goal came via Allan Wanga who headed Noah Wafula’s freekick.

The win will be good news for Ingwe fans as Allan Wanga is rounding back to the form that saw him play overseas three years ago and Paul Were who was the subject of a tug of war with Tusker seems to be in imperious form.
