Kenya made a big stride towards a place in the semi-final of the Africa Rugby Confederation Cup rugby tournament after beating Zambia 33-10 at the Rugby Football Union of East Africa ground.

The match which was televised live by Nation TV saw Kenya take only one minute and fifty seconds to score the first try through fly-half Newton Ong'alo. Moses Kola kicked over the conversion.

In the seventh minute, Kenya went 14-0 up with another try by Allan Wamanga which Kola converted.

Zambia pulled one back through their captain Andrew Kaminsa who drilled over a penalty in the 11th minute
