Laiser Hill Academy pulled off an 18-13 win over Lenana School to lift a maiden Prescott Cup title in the final played at the RFUEA Grounds on Saturday 5 July 2014. It was Lenana who went ahead with a sixth minute penalty from Faraja Daniel. Lee Mbithi restored parity for Laiser Hill with a penalty six minutes to half time before Joel Inzuga’s converted try saw Laiser take a 10-3 lead into half time.

Lenana responded with a Bivan Kurgat try two minutes into the second half, cutting the scores to 10-8 but Mbithi’s penalty and Kelvin Kioko’s try saw Laiser go 18-8 up. Lenana would grab a late consolation via Faraja Daniel as the game ended 18-13, a first ever Prescott Cup win for Laiser.

Earlier, Strathmore edged outgoing champions Alliance 20-19 to claim third place.

Muhuru Muchiri stunned former Prescott Cup side Nairobi School 13-6 to lift the Damu Pevu title
