Martin Olsson is a footballer of Swedish and Kenyan extraction. As of 2012, he was playing in the English premier league for Blackburn Rovers.
Martin Tony Waikwa Olsson was born on May 17 1988 to a Swedish Father and a Kenyan mother. His playing career started in the youth setup at Hogarborgs FC. His talents soon attracted the attention of talent scouts at Blackburn FC whom he then joined in 2006 to play for their youth team. His first game for Blackburn was in 2007. His first premiership match was against Derby County in December 2007.
In 2010, Olsson established himself as a regular first team player, mostly playing at left back. He occassionally played in central defence. He made his international debut for Sweden in 2010. His twin brother, Marcus Olsson also plays at Blackburn and has yet to be capped by Sweden. Is Harambee stars coach Kimanzi reading this ?
