AFC Leopards coach James Nandwa continued his brilliant start when he picked his fifth win in a row AFC won 2-1 win over Western Stima in a league match at Mumias Complex on Wednesday.
Allan Wanga scored in the 30th minute and added the second in the 50th minute. Stima scored via Fred Shimonyo in injury time. Shimonyo scored from the penalty spot awarded after he had been brought down in the box.
Leopards’attacked from the start. Allan Wanga was denied from a free-kick early in the game. Stima defence was stretched thin by the constant attacks and it came as no surpise when Baraza and Wanga combined for the 1st goal.
The duo combined again for the second goal. The second goal awoke Stima who fougt back. They were rewarded in injury time with a penalty which Shimonyo converted. It came too late however. Leopards remain in third on 41 points.
