Gor Mahia FC Hello fans
Thanks for the website which has given us a chance to express our fillings on
our beloved club to date.
Having gone through all the proposed first eleven and second eleven, my annaysis
are that fans have listed players depending on the generation mainly three
diffrent times.
First generation is the old generation which ended in 1979 as the climax of
final match between Canon spotiff of cameroon, then came exodus of players
followed by rebuilding of the team for the second generation.
Second generation categorically won the mandela cup in 1987 against Esperance of
Tunisia. Then came rebels and consequencial sidelining on disciplinary basis.
Third generation honestly did not go further than semi finals in caf organised
matches even though it was lethergic.
How ever it was a big blow due to directive from higher authority that players
should play in their respective clubs of employment (institutions).
Honestly since then Kenyan clubs have not played the real game we got addicted
to never have we realised breed of quality and talented players
How ever my point is the best all time line up was achieved by a good blend of
First and second second generation whereby donkey work was done by the Late
Briton Len Julians.
Many jokogalo die hards will never forget the 4-4-4 operating system of
humiliating opponents.
Long live Gor mahia.
