Japan based Sally Chepyego wins Sanyo half marathon

Sally Chepyego won the world’s last elite half marathon of the year  in Okayama Japan. She beat a a large group of elite Japanese and foreign women  at the Sanyo Women’s Road Race half marathon

Chepyego who represents Team Kyudenko was the class of the field in the half-marathon division, winning in 1:08:24. In the process she set a  course record

Felista Wanjugu was 3rd in 1:09:36 in her half marathon debut.

The Sanyo Race was the selection race for the Japanese World Half Marathon team.

Grace Kimanzi easily won the 10 km division
