Alice Aprot wins Antrim Cross country

Alice Aprot continued her fine run of form when she won the Antrim International Cross Country which is an IAAF Cross Country Permit meeting on Sunday. Fighting extreme cold and muddy conditions, Aprot won the 5.8km race in 18:05. Bahrain’s Mimi Belete finished second in 18:09, just two seconds slower than her winning time from 2014.

This follows Aprot’s impressie performance a week earlier when he set a new courese record at the Campaccio cross country.
